Buscada designed this exhibition and accompanying catalogue to explore the arc of planning and major developments at MIT in a global context of planning trends. It was curated in collaboration with Lawrence Vale and Gary Van Zante of MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning.
Building a brand-new archive of the department’s history and context, Buscada used films, photographs, letters and other archival materials to create a visually rich exhibition that addressed the complexity of planning history.
The accompanying catalogue that Buscada designed is the first publication to pull together the department’s history and archive.
Exhibited: MIT Wolk Gallery, 2008 // School of Architecture + Planning, permanent installation
